CONTACT Beaver Valley’s next Skills for Better Listening class will start March 18, 2008 and run through April 10th at Penn State Beaver. Call the CONTACT office at 724-728-9511 if you are interested in these classes.
CONTACT’s 2nd annual Landscaping and Garden Ideas Tour will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008. If you’d like to show off your gardening skills, we’d love to have you on our tour. Our first garden tour was held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 with 7 gardens and a bonsai exhibit in Beaver, Brighton Township and Patterson Township. Thanks to all who donated their gorgeous gardens. Hope to see you in August!
CONTACT ’s 12th annual "Angels Among Us" Auction dinner will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Beaver Valley Golf Club. Hope to see you there! Our 11th annual Auction dinner on November 3rd was a great success. Thanks to all of the angels who contributed to the auction and dinner. With special thanks to :Kristi DeMaiolo from Cafe Kolache, Mr. C Entertainment, and the staff at the Beaver Valley Golf Club.
CONTACT Beaver Valley is currently seeking persons interested in serving on the CONTACT Board. Board members attend one meeting a month and assist with CONTACT-sponsored events. Call the CONTACT office at 724-728-9511 if you are interested in this opportunity.
As a not-for-profit organization, CONTACT Beaver Valley is maintained financially by contributions from local churches, community service organizations, individuals, businesses, grants, and service agreements with human service agencies.
